About

Chasing the detail

I'm Michel Quiroz, a tattoo artist in North Dallas, by Carrollton, tattooing since 2021. I specialize in black and grey realism, and I also work in fine line, blackwork and ornamental design.

I don't believe perfect exists, but every piece is a new chance to get closer to it.

A black rotary tattoo machine floats through a dark studio and lands in Michel Quiroz's gloved hand as he starts tattooing a client's arm.

That's why I look hard at the details: anatomy, the way a design flows with the body, contrast, shadows and how each element sits next to the others.

Every project starts with your idea. My job is to turn it into a design that actually works on skin, looks strong on the first day and holds its quality for years.

The work I enjoy most is realism, large compositions and full sleeves: pieces where many elements have to come together as one.

      FAQ

      Questions

How much does a tattoo cost?

Every piece is quoted individually, based on its size, detail, placement and time. Use the quote form to tell me your idea, and you'll know the estimate before you book.

      How much is the deposit?

It depends on the size of the project, and it's set in your quote. It confirms your date, starts your custom design and is deducted from the final price.

      Is the deposit refundable?

No, deposits aren't refundable if you cancel. If I have to cancel and we can't agree on a new date, I'll refund it in full. Deposits are personal and can't be transferred to someone else.

      Can I reschedule?

Yes, once per deposit, with at least 48 hours' notice and subject to availability. A second reschedule requires a new deposit. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or no-shows lose the deposit.

What tattoo styles do you do?

My specialty is black and grey realism: portraits, animals, religious and classical statues, roses and large compositions. I also tattoo fine line, blackwork and ornamental pieces, and I often combine them in sleeves.

Do you tattoo clients from Dallas and the rest of DFW?

Yes. The studio is in North Dallas, on the border with Carrollton and Addison, easy to reach from I-35E, the Dallas North Tollway and the George Bush Turnpike. Clients come from Carrollton, Addison, Farmers Branch, Plano, Richardson, Frisco, Lewisville, Coppell and The Colony, and some travel from Fort Worth and Denton for larger projects.

      Do you take small tattoos?

Yes. Small and single pieces are welcome — start a quote and tell me what you have in mind.

Do you do sleeves and large pieces?

Yes — realism sleeves and large compositions are the work I enjoy most. They're planned as a project and quoted after we talk through the idea.

How old do I have to be?

18 or older, with a valid government-issued photo ID. No exceptions.

What payment methods do you accept?

Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, cash, and credit or debit cards through Square.

      Where are you located?

19021 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75287 — in North Dallas, on the border with Carrollton and Addison, close to Farmers Branch. Clients come from across Dallas–Fort Worth.

How should I care for my new tattoo?

You'll get written aftercare instructions at the end of your session.
